Good morning Dr. Rik,
It has been about 7 weeks since finishing the decompression therapy with you! As you know, I have suffered from a very wide range of painful symptoms in both hips, both legs, and both feet for over 20 years. All of this because of several problems in my low back; bulging discs, stenosis, bone spurs, and more - I was even told that arthritis was starting. I decided to have surgery about 7 years ago which turned out to be a mistake: I only seemed better temporarily and then things got worse. All along I had been receiving customary chiropractic care, but that too while welcome, was always temporary and lasted no more than a few days at most.

I am very pleased to report that not only did my pain and other symptoms fade away during the decompression therapy, but they have not been back since! I have even been able to start walking for exercise! For anyone else reading this, I am a 50 year old man in good overall health and just a 30 minute walk used to be out of the question. I can only describe the improvement as DRAMATIC! It has been an answer to prayers!

Dear Dr. Rik,

As you know, I heard about you through a close friend, and he was getting great results with you, but I still had my doubts on if this would work for me. How foolish! I cannot believe the difference it has made for me!

Before I came to you I had lost the movement in my lower back. I decided to go to a chiropractor to ease the pain, but even he said it was just like putting a band aid on the situation. Even worse, he told me to cancel my snow skiing trip with my friends, and boating and skating and skydiving and everything I do or plan to do was over. I basically felt like my life was over at 39. He had told me to get an MRI of my lower back, which showed two full discs GONE and one bulging disc and a bone spur that was trying to fuse onto the consecutive bone underneath and had grown into a nerve which was giving me severe pain.

I could barely get out of bed and do everyday life things. I’m a mother of two beautiful and active girls. I had stopped playing on the floor with them, swimming, dancing, picking them up, Disneyland and other fun places we like to go.

I remember when I came in for the first treatment; I couldn’t even lift my legs up on the table. You had to help me! WOW! The difference it has made for me is LIFE CHANGING! I am so thankful to you. I am able to kick up my legs on that table now. I sit on the floor and play games with my girls. I’m swimming, dancing, playing basketball, catch with absolutely no fear. This week was a testimony alone. Monday we went to Seaworld… Tuesday we had errands, tutoring, and tennis and night swimming….Wednesday we went to Irvine Water Park….Thursday we went to Disneyland and stayed until closing. I haven’t seen the firework show in so long! And this weekend we are going to Lake Havasu for the weekend. I’m back! My life as I knew it is back!

Oh, I thank God and I thank you, Dr. Rik. The tears stream down my face as I write this because I will never ever forget how I used to be. I was trying everything before I met you. At first I thought it would just go away, and then I ended up at a chiropractor’s office. I even changed my mattress twice in two months, thinking that must be it. Your Spinal Aid bed is what really worked! It is truly amazing, just like what my friend was telling me!

I plan on still being adjusted by you and strengthening my back with exercise, but I know I couldn’t have gotten to this point without you. I was able to trust you right away. You care about others uniquely and I thank you, and I hope and pray that God will pour all his blessings upon you for the things you have done for me and so many other people.
